Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is recruiting for bumper posts of constable in the state. For which written examination has been organized. The result of this exam was also in front of everyone recently. After which now the board has released the dates of Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Also, admit cards for these will also be available on the official website of the board, uppbpb.gov.in, from December 16.

A total of 48 lakh candidates had registered for the written examination conducted for UP Police Constable recruitment, out of which more than 32 lakh had appeared for the examination. Out of these candidates, 174316 candidates have been shortlisted for DV and PST. The board informed that to be a part of this recruitment process, candidates will have to appear at the centers mentioned in the admit card on the scheduled date and time, and they will also have to bring self-attested copies of all the necessary documents.

Under PST, the physical parameters of the candidates will be examined. Height for male candidates should be at least 168 cm (General, OBC and SC), while for SC category candidates the height should be minimum 160 cm. Apart from this, it is mandatory for male candidates to have a chest of 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion.
The minimum height for female candidates has been kept at 152 cm, whereas for women coming from ST category, this height should be 147 cm. The minimum weight for female candidates has been fixed at 40 kg. If any candidate is dissatisfied with the result of PST, he can appeal on the same day.
PET will be held after PST and DV
After clearing the Physical Standard Test (PST), candidates will have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). For male candidates, it will be mandatory to complete the 4.8 kilometer race in 25 minutes, while for female candidates, it will be mandatory to cover this distance of 2.4 kilometers in 14 minutes.
