UP Police Constable Exam 2024 Last Entry In The Exam Hall: The UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination has started from today. More than 48 lakh candidates will appear for the examination for about 60 thousand posts. The first shift has been completed and now the second shift paper is going to start in some time. According to the rules of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, UP Police Constable exam will be conducted on 23, 24, 25 and 31 August. Every day the exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 5 pm. For both the shifts, candidates have to reach the center one hour early and preferably at least two hours early.
You will not get entry after this
It would be better to reach the centre at least two hours in advance so that all the formalities from checking to other formalities are completed properly. If this is not possible, then in any case, reach the centre one hour in advance. Also know that when there is half an hour left for the examination to start, after that no candidate will be allowed to enter the centre.
You can also understand it this way that for the 10 o’clock shift, entry to the room will be closed after 10.30 and the gate of the center will be closed. Whereas for the 3 o’clock exam, the gate will be closed at 2.30 and no one will be allowed to enter.
There is no relaxation even for 10-15 minutes
The board has clearly stated in the instructions issued in this regard that the candidates must reach the centre on time under any circumstances. Candidates who reach late and reach after the gate is closed half an hour before the start of the exam will not be allowed entry under any circumstances. Even an additional time of 10-15 minutes will not be given.

Keeping these rules in mind, candidates are requested to leave home on time. Plan with extra caution, counting the time taken on the way in case of any emergency (traffic etc.). Also keep in mind the extra time that may be taken if public conveyance is not available and plan counting all the obstacles on the way and reach the center on time. There will be no harm in reaching early but delay can put you in trouble.
