Union Budget 2025: Nirmala Sitharaman has shown complete generosity on the parents who sent their children abroad by taking a loan. However, expectations from the budget of those who send children abroad by cutting their stomachs or selling their property have not been fulfilled. In the budget of 2025-26, the Government of India has abolished the tax deduction on TCS i.e. Source for paying a loan of children studying abroad. In the first year, sending more than seven lakh rupees for college fee was 0.5 percent tax.

TCS will continue to cut 20 fees on sending abroad without taking a loan

Those who teach children abroad by taking loans have got relief, but those who sent children abroad by paying their lives or selling land and wealth or jewelry have not got any relief from it. On sending them abroad money for college fee, 20 percent TCS will continue to be deducted as before. However, even without taking a loan, TCS limit has been increased on paying fees in the college abroad. The government has now increased its limit from seven lakhs to 10 lakh rupees.

Experts say that such parents should also get relief in view of their income. Because many of these parents are such, who do not take loans to avoid the heavy burden of interest and even after extracting the amount of PF etc., they sacrifice their future for the future of children. The status of such parents gets worse than the parents who send children abroad.

Middle class parents will be fulfilled

This step of the Finance Minister is going to confirm the intention of developed India by promoting higher education abroad. This will also fulfill the dreams of middle class parents, who want to send their children abroad to read and ensure their better future. The number of parents who dream like this will also increase.
