UCO Bank has invited applications from candidates for Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made on a total of 250 posts. Candidates willing to apply will have to apply by visiting the official website of UCO Bank ucobank.com. The application process has started from 16 January 2025 and the last date to apply has been fixed as 5 February 2025.
Along with this, candidates are also informed that the application fee will also have to be paid by February 5, 2025. After this date both the payment of fees and the application process will stop. Total 57 posts in Gujarat, 70 posts in Maharashtra, 30 posts in Assam, 35 posts in Karnataka, 13 posts in Tripura, 6 posts in Sikkim, 5 posts in Nagaland, 4 posts in Meghalaya, 15 posts in Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Recruitment will be done jointly on 10 posts in Uttar Pradesh and 5 posts in Jammu and Kashmir. Candidates will get the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process according to the posts prescribed for each state. Candidates are advised to apply on the basis of information about state wise posts.
This is the sought qualification
To apply, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria. First of all, whichever state the candidates apply for, they should have knowledge of the regional language of that state. Apart from this, candidates must have graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age is 30 years, and the age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2025. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.
You will get this salary
Candidates will be provided an attractive salary every month under Junior Management Grade Scale-I. This salary will be determined according to the responsibilities of the post of the candidate and his working capacity. There may also be a possibility of other allowances and benefits in this salary package, which will depend on the policies and provisions of the bank.
This is the application fee
All candidates will have to pay Rs 850 as application fee. Whereas, SC, ST and PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) category candidates will have to pay only Rs 175.
This will be the selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. Candidates will get 3 hours for the exam, which will have four sections – Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English and Data Analysis and Interpretation. A total of 155 questions will be asked, whose total marks will be 200.
