Sapna Singh Son Death:The son of actress Sapna Singh, who worked in many TV serials including Crime Patrol and Maati Ki Banno, has died. The body of the actress’s son Sagar Gangwar was found in the drain under suspicious circumstances. Actress Sapna Singh, distressed by the death of her 14 year old son, protested in Bareilly. The family members have accused Sagar of murder and demanded justice.
Two friends arrested in Sapna Singh’s son’s death
According to TOI report, officials said on Wednesday that the police have arrested two friends of the deceased in connection with the case. Sapna Singh’s protest which lasted for more than 90 minutes ended on Tuesday when the police assured Singh of appropriate action. According to officials, the two friends, identified as Anuj and Sunny, were arrested on Wednesday on charges of murder and sent to jail.
Overdose of poison or drugs can be the cause of death
Circle Officer (Fatehpur) Ashutosh Shivam said, “The exact cause of death could not be confirmed from the postmortem report, but there were indications of poison or drug overdose. Viscera samples have been preserved for further investigation.” “
Friends said Sagar had taken drugs and alcohol
According to the report, Inspector Sunil Kumar of Bhuta police station said, “During interrogation, Anuj and Sunny confessed that they had consumed drugs and alcohol with Sagar. Due to the overdose, Sagar became unconscious. In panic, they dragged his body. Took him to a field and left him there.” Police said that Sagar, a class 8 student, lived with his maternal uncle Om Prakash in Anand Vihar Colony, Bareilly. His body was found near Adlakhiya village of Izzatnagar police station area on Sunday morning.
Initially, postmortem was conducted considering it as an unknown case. However, an officer said that Om Prakash had lodged a missing complaint with the Baradari police on December 7. The officer said that the body was later identified and CCTV footage near the incident site showed Anuj and Sunny dragging Sagar’s body, due to which they were taken into custody.
Police have registered a case of murder
After this incident, protests started in Sagar’s village, residents blocked the road and demanded a second postmortem. Sapna Singh, known for her roles in TV shows like “Crime Patrol” and “Maati Ki Banno”, returned from Mumbai on Tuesday and learned that her son had died. She broke down after seeing his dead body and demanded justice. After the protest, the police registered a case of murder and a new FIR was registered at Bhuta police station.
