In Padmapuran, Tulsi marriage has been mentioned on Kartik Shukla Navami and according to Devi Puran, on Kartik Purnima. According to other texts, five days from Prabodhini to Purnima give more results. The fasting person should nourish the Tulsi tree by watering and worshiping it three months before the marriage.
At the marriage time mentioned in the scriptures, make Toran-Mandapadi, along with four Brahmins, worship Ganapati-Matrikas, recite Nandishraadh and Punyah, and place Lakshminarayan and Tulsi along with the real idol of the temple on the auspicious seat facing east.

Get the meal done yourself.
How is the story of Tulsi Vivah connected to the origin of Vrindavan?
The tradition of Tulsi Vivah is an integral part of our culture. At some places, Tulsi Vivah is celebrated like a normal wedding by taking out a procession with musical instruments and musical instruments. So let us know why this tradition continues to be followed even today.
According to Devi Purana 9.25.34, the auspicious appearance of Tulsi took place on the date of Kartikpurnima. At that time Lord Shri Hari was the first to perform his puja. Therefore, the person who worships that world-holy Tulsi with devotion on that day, becomes free from all sins and goes to Vishnuloka. ,Kartikyan Purnimayan Cha Tulsya Janam Mangalam. Tatra Tasyascha Pooja Cha Vihita Harina Pura. 34)
In fact, Tulsi itself is Mother Lakshmi, that is, Tusli and Lakshmi are not different, the proof of this is found in Devi Purana.
Kartikipurnimayan tu sitvare cha padmaj. Sushav Sa Cha Padmansha Padmini Ta Manoharam. (9.17.8)
In other words: – Gave birth to a beautiful girl (Tulsi) who was a part of Goddess Lakshmi and was like Padmini. Moreover, Mother Tulsi’s husband Shankhachud is also considered to be Lord Vishnu, that is, both are not different. You also find evidence of this in Devi Purana.
Sa Snatah Sarvatirtheshu Yah Snatah Shankhavarina. Shankho Hareradhishthanam Yatra Shankhastato Hari: ॥ 26
Tatraiva Vasate Lakshmirduri Bhootammangalam. स्त्रीनां च शंखध्ध्वनिभीः शुद्रानां च especially ॥ 28
In other words: – Shankh (Shankchud) is the adhishthana form of Lord Shri Hari. Where the conch resides, Lord Shri Hari resides there, Goddess Lakshmi also resides there and all evil runs away from that place. Now this proves that Lakshmi ji is Tulsi and Shri Hari is Shankhachud.
Naming of Vrindavan and story of Tulsi and Shankhchud: – According to Brahmavaivarta Purana
Tulsi desired to get Shri Hari as her husband by doing penance, she got Shankhchud (Shri Hari). Lord Narayana was received by him in the form of Pranavallabha. Due to the curse of Lord Shri Hari, Deveshwari appeared in the form of a Tulsi tree and due to the curse of Tulsi, Shri Hari Shalagram became a stone.
Even in that state, beautiful Tulsi continued to reside on the chest of that rock. This is also a place of penance of that Tulsi; That is why wise men call it ‘Vrindavan’. (Tulsi and Vrinda are synonyms) Or I am telling you another excellent reason due to which this holy place of India became famous by the name of Vrindavan.
Let us now know the classical aspect of Tulsi worship- According to Devi Purana, Volume 9, Chapter Number 25, the first Tulsi puja was done by Lord Vishnu in the Tulsi forest. Sri Hari took a ritual bath in the Tulsi forest and worshiped that saint Tulsika. After that, after meditating on him, God praised him with devotion. He created ‘Vrindavani’ by adding Lakshmibeej (Shri), Mayabij (Hreem), Kambeej (Kleem) and Vanibeej (Em) in the beginning – by adding inflection ‘De’ (Chaturthi) at the end of this word and by using Vahnijaya (Swaha) at the end. Was worshiped with Dashakshar Mantra (Shree Hreem Kleem Ain Vrindavanyai Swaha).
One who worships Tulsi methodically with this Kalpavriksha form of Mantraraj, definitely attains all the attainments. After being properly worshiped by Lord Shri Hari with the remedies and hymns using Ghritka lamp, incense, vermilion, sandalwood, naivedya and flowers etc., Tulsi Devi immediately appeared from the tree. That welfare worker Tulsi became happy and went to take shelter at the lotus feet of Shri Hari. Then Lord Vishnu granted him this boon – ‘May you become everyone’s worshipper.
I will wear you, the beautiful one, on my forehead and chest and all the gods etc. will also wear you on their forehead.’ – Saying this, Lord Shri Hari took that Tulsi with him and went to his place. Lord Vishnu said, “When Vrinda (Tulsi)-like tree and other trees come together, then learned people call it ‘Vrinda’. I worship my beloved who is famous by the name ‘Vrinda’. The goddess who was the first to come to Vrindavan in ancient times. She had appeared in the world and that is why I worship that auspicious goddess who became famous by the name ‘Vrindavani’.
Which is always worshiped in innumerable worlds, that is why I worship that all-worshipped Bhagwati Tulsi, who is famous by the name of ‘Vishwapujita’. You always purify innumerable worlds, hence I remember you, the goddess named ‘Vishwapavani’, with an eagerness of separation. Without whom the Gods are not pleased even after offering abundant flowers, I mournfully wish to see Goddess Tulsi, known as ‘Pushpasara’, who is the essence and pure form of flowers.
In this world, the mere attainment of which brings happiness to the devotee, hence may that goddess known by the name ‘Nandini’ be pleased with me. There is no comparison of the Goddess in the entire world, hence I take refuge in that beloved of mine, known by the name ‘Tulsi’. Shri Hari gave a boon to Tulsi – “You become worshipable for everyone and me, worthy of being worn on the head, worshipable and acceptable, Vrinda, Vrindavani, Vishvapujita, Vishvapavani, Pushpasara, Nandini, Tulsi and Krishnajeevani- These eight names of Tulsi will be famous. The person who worships Tulsi ritually and recites this Namashtak Stotra consisting of eight names with the meanings of the names, attains the results of Ashwamedha Yagya.”
Meditation on Tulsi is the destroyer of sins, hence by meditating on it, without even invoking the Tulsi tree, the essence of the flowers of the Tulsi tree, through various worship treatments, is sacred, extremely beautiful and like the crest of fire lit to burn the fuel of sins, Sadhvi Tulsi is Worship should be done with devotion.
