Tilak broke a special record of Rohit. He has overtaken Rohit in terms of making the biggest T20 score for India. Tilak has scored unbeaten 120 runs in this match. Whereas Rohit’s highest score is 118 runs. He scored a century against Sri Lanka in 2017. The record of making the highest T20 score for Team India is in the name of Shubman Gill. Gill had scored unbeaten 126 runs in 2023.

Tilak has equaled a special record of Rohit and Samson. Tilak has equaled both of them in terms of hitting the most number of sixes in a T20 International innings. Rohit and Samson have hit 10 sixes each. Tilak has also done this feat. Suryakumar Yadav is at second place in this list. He had hit 9 sixes against Sri Lanka in 2023.
