Thukra Ke Mera Pyar Review: ‘‘Thukra Ke Mere Pyaar Mera Intekaam Dekhegi’, 7 years ago Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ was released, this song was in it. Meaning, even if this series was to be made on the same story, then at least the name would have been kept different so that even if the audience is deceived, they might have the audacity to watch this series. But here even the name was kept in such a way that from the name itself it was known what would have been made and what was made was the same which we have seen 34234234234 times.
Story
There is a rich girl, her father is a big man, now obviously he is a big man so everyone from the police to the minister bows before him and the daughter also does whatever she wants. The daughter likes a poor boy, the daughter asks him to be friends with her. Love begins, the father comes to know, the daughter denies love in front of the father and then the domineering father makes life difficult for the poor boy’s family.
What a creative story isn’t it and then that poor boy returns to the same village after becoming an IAS. You may have heard such a story before, you may have never heard it, if you want to hear it now then watch this 7 episode series on Hotstar.
How is this series?
How can we tell what this series is like, we have heard this story so many times. Where between a boy and a girl, one is rich, one is poor, one is from upper caste and one is from lower caste. Then Rajkumar Rao had shown all the same drama and this IAS angle 7 years ago. There is nothing that can be called new in this series. Why this series was made, was made under some compulsion and why it got a platform like Hotstar, is beyond understanding. There is nothing in this series that today’s audience will watch, it will only be called revenge on the audience.
acting
Actress Mrinal Thakur’s brother Dhaval Thakur has debuted with this series. There is promise in Dhawal’s acting but the selection of the series is quite wrong. Maybe if he got a chance to debut on a big platform like Hotstar, he would not have missed it. But the story is quite common and there is nothing new in this series that Dhaval could do. Sanchita Basu is the heroine of this series and her work is also good. There is a possibility in him but then again the same thing, this series was a wrong selection.
Anirudh Dave is also in the role of Police Inspector in this series, now what would he have done if other people could not do anything. Govind Pandey has become a Baahubali father and we have seen what he is doing thousands of times.
direction
This series has been directed by Shraddha Pasi Jayarath, she has been associated with series like Arya. Now they must know why they made this series, but they have completely disappointed. The story is so stale that talking about other things becomes useless. Overall, this series is revenge on you, don’t let anyone take it.
