Perhaps the makers had an idea that ‘Thangalan’ will not be able to work its magic in North India in front of the havoc of Stree 2.
When will ‘Thangalan’ release in North India?
Chiyaan Vikram has given information on his Instagram about when ‘Thangalan’ will be released in North India. The actor has shared a poster and told the first day’s worldwide collection of ‘Thangalan’. According to this, despite not being released in North India, the film has earned a total of Rs 26.44 crore worldwide. It is written in this poster – “Thangalan is releasing in North India on 30 August.”
‘Thangalan’ became the second highest opening film
‘Thangalan’ did good business at the domestic box office as well. ‘Thangalan’ became the second highest opening film among the 8 films released on 15 August. Stree 2’s collection was at number one. According to the data of Saccanilk, ‘Thangalan’ opened with Rs 13.3 crore in India. Whereas the opening collection of Stree 2 was Rs 76.5 crore.
