Now the team of ‘Tangal’ is promoting it vigorously in different states. After Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, the team of ‘Tangal’ had planned promotion in Kerala, but it has now been cancelled. Let us know what is the reason behind this.
Why was the Kerala event cancelled?
Fans who are eagerly waiting for Chiyaan Vikram’s Thangalan will not be able to watch its promotional event in Kerala. Actually, due to the landslide in Wayanad, the promotional event has now been cancelled.
Let us tell you that the landslide occurred in Wayanad on July 30 and this disaster is one of the most dangerous disasters in the history of Kerala, in which at least 431 people were killed, more than 378 were injured and more than 130 people were reported missing.

Let us tell you that the team of Thangalan did not feel it right to promote the film at such a time of mourning in the state, so it has been cancelled. Apart from this, the cost that was to be spent on the promotion of this film in Kerala will be donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Gokulam Movies, a distributor of films in Kerala, has also shared it on social media. Earlier, Chiyaan Vikram had contributed Rs 20 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and expressed grief over the tragic death of many people.
How is the story of ‘Tanglan’
‘Tangalan’ is directed by Pa Ranjith and features Chiyaan Vikram playing a tribal chieftain during the British rule. Malavika Mohanan plays a fierce magical goddess named Aarti in the film and has performed several stunts, action sequences.
The music of the film has been composed by GV Prakash. It is based on the lives of people living in Kolar Gold Fields during the gold mining during the British rule. The film has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. Let us tell you that this film will be released in Telugu and Hindi besides Tamil.
