Pa Ranjith on Thangalaan Release: Ever since the look of South superstar Vikram’s upcoming film Tangalan went viral, fans are waiting for this film. Just a few more days and you all will be able to watch this film in theatres. This film, directed by Pa. Ranjit, is being released in theatres on the occasion of Independence Day. This film has been in the news for a long time, so the director has made some revelations on why its release is so late.
Recently, at an event, director Pa. Ranjit told how the trailer of ‘KGF’ influenced his work on ‘Tangal’. Ranjit said that he took a break from working on ‘Tangal’ because he found some things similar in both the films.
What did Pa. Ranjith say on the late release of ‘Tangallan’?
Pa Ranjith said that during the break, he rethought his film and made several changes so that the film became distinct in itself. Ranjith started working on ‘Tangalan’ again only after making some major changes different from ‘KGF’. Pa. Ranjith also showed great respect for lead actor Chiyaan Vikram. He praised Vikram’s dedication to the project and told how the actor continued working even after breaking a rib during the shooting.
Expressing his gratitude, Ranjit said, “Vikram sir’s unwavering faith in me and his hard work makes this film very special. I hope this film will be a success, especially for him.” During this, Vikram talked about his hard work for ‘Tangallan’. He told what changes he made in his personal life and how he took care of his health to meet the demands of the film. He said that ‘Tangallan’ is very special for him and he also showed how committed he is to play his character.
Tangalan is going to be another big film from the South. It is based on the true story of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), which was discovered by the British and used for their benefit. This film will carry forward the tradition of the South Indian film industry of bringing unique concepts to the audience.
This is another South Indian film with a unique concept. ‘Tangalan’ starring Chiyaan Vikram and Malavika Mohanan is scheduled to release worldwide on August 15, 2024 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
