Thangalaan Box Office Collection Day 3: Chiyaan Vikram starrer ‘Thangalan’ is one of the 8 films released in theatres on 15th August. This is a Tamil adventure-thriller film which is being liked by the audience. Despite the big clash at the box office, if any film has maintained its charm after ‘Stree 2’ on the first day, then it is ‘Thangalan’. The film became the second highest opener with its first day collection, while the film is still earning strong money every day.
According to the data of Saccanilk, ‘Thangalan’ had an opening of Rs 13.3 crore on the first day. On the second day, the film earned Rs 4.75 crore. Now on the third day of its release, the film has collected Rs 5.65 crore. The film has earned a total of Rs 23.7 crore at the domestic box office.
‘Thangalan’ defeated these films
Tamil thriller film ‘Thangalan’ has defeated many films at the box office with its strong collection. The Chiyaan Vikram starrer film has surpassed Ravi Teja’s ‘Mr Bachchan’ (7.2 crores), Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Double Smart’ (10.15) and John Abraham’s ‘Veda’ (10.55 crores) in three days’ collection.
‘Thangalan’ was not released in North India
‘Thangalan’ has been released in theatres in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. But the makers have not released the film in Hindi language in North India. Chiyan Vikram had posted on social media and informed that the film will be released in North India on August 30.

Directed by PA Ranjit, the film ‘Thangalan’ is made under the banner of Studio Green. Chiyan Vikram is in the lead role in the film ‘Thangalan’. Malavika Mohanan, Parvati Thiruvothu and Pashupati have also appeared in important roles.
