Posani krishna murili: Telugu film actor and leader Posani Krishna Murali has been sent on 14 days remand by the Railway Kodur Junior Civil Judge Court. Posani was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Police from Hyderabad on Wednesday night.
The magistrate rejected the bail plea of Posani Krishna Murali and he will now be on remand in Kadappa Central Jail till March 12. The debate in the court on his bail lasted unusually long, which started at 9:30 pm on Thursday night and continued till 5 am on Friday. His lawyer, Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy argued that he should be granted bail under Section 41A notice, but the magistrate refused and ordered remand.
Posani confesses to using objectionable language
During the police investigation, Posani admitted that all the obscene and derogatory words in the records were his own. Although in the beginning, he tried to avoid answering questions by saying that he did not remember, but when video evidence of his derogatory comments was shown, he had no choice but to confess. He admitted that he used objectionable language to target Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh.
What are the allegations against Posani?
Local Jan Sena activist Jogineni Mani had filed a complaint against the actor to make derogatory remarks on party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Nara Lokesh. Acting on the complaint, Obulavariple arrested Posani and transferred him to Annamayya district, before questioning, the formalities of their medical examination were completed in the police station premises itself. Police sources said that during interrogation, Posani did not cooperate and tried to avoid answering.
Former Railway Kodur MLA K Srinivasulu tried to enter Posani to meet Posani, but the police stopped him and his associates from entering the police station, after which a heavy drama ran outside the police station throughout the day. The inquiry continued even after 9 pm at the Obulavariple police station, the actor was presented to the local magistrate in Railway Kodar late at night. From where he has been sent on 14 days police remand.
