Everyone has shown Kashmir in their own way, but the way this web series shows the story of Kashmir, it seems as if Kashmir is telling its own story.
Story
Kabir i.e. Manav Vij and his Special Task Group i.e. SPG are in action mode. When Farid Mir i.e. Al-Damascus becomes a threat, politics is taking place among those spreading terror in Kashmir and there is some discord among the SPG also. Kabir has to lose a lot this time, this time there is betrayal, greed, love, revenge, everything in the story. But will peace return to Kashmir, will the terrorists who are a threat to Kashmir be eliminated? To know this story you will have to watch this series.
how is the series
This series is a remake of the series Fauda and looking at this series it seems that Kashmir has been properly understood for making it. There will be no useless heroism here, no useless loud dialogues. This series slowly and methodically conveys its message and explains it, it seems slow but if it had been fast then perhaps it would not have been so effective. This series understands the tension of Kashmir very well and explains it to you. There is no Salman Khan here who will suddenly come and eliminate all the terrorists. Here SPG works as it probably should. This seems to be a mature series, there is no unnecessary noise in it, there is a pause and this is the specialty of this series.
acting
The characters of this series are its life. Every character has been presented in such a way that he seems to be a part of Kashmir. Manav Vij’s work is tremendous, his many shades are visible and he looks amazing in every shade. Kabir Bedi’s work is good as always. Gaurav Arora has done a great job, the expressions on Gaurav’s face alone say a lot. Shashank Arora’s work is brilliant, in one scene when he tells how he fitted a bomb in someone’s stomach, you feel angry at him and this is the success of his character. Like always, Rajat Kapoor also does complete justice to his character. Satyadeep Mishra, Sahiba Bali, Ekta Kaul, Soni Razdan and Sukhmani Sadana have all done a good job. Every character becomes a part of the story, a part of Kashmir.
direction
The series has been directed by Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas. His direction here shows that he has tremendous grip on the story. The research is good, the locations have been worked properly and no attempt was made to forcefully introduce heroism into the story.
