Tanaav 2 Review: Kashmir is a place where the first thing that comes to mind when it is mentioned is its beautiful valleys. But one thing has been associated with Kashmir for years and that is tension, this series shows that tension.
This is not the second season of this series, there are six episodes of the first half of Tanas. Tanas is a remake of the Israeli series Fauda, where the war between Israel and Palestine was shown, whereas here Kashmir has been made the central character.
Story
There is tension in Kashmir again but this time the matter is personal, Mir Sahab’s son Farid aka Al Damascus has come to Kashmir from Syria to spread terror, he wants to take revenge for his father’s death, he attacks Kabir i.e. Manav Vij and his father and then Manav Vij along with STG starts a mission to find him but this time Manav is stressed about his children, about his family, will this mission be successful, to know this you can watch this 6 episode series on Sony Liv
How is the series?
This series is good, intense, obviously it has Kashmir, so it has beauty, valleys and a lot of tension, a lot of action which is fun to watch. In this series, the tension between the STGs has been shown very well and the tension between the terrorists has also been shown properly. The action scenes have been shot very well, the cinematography is amazing. This series moves at its own pace and that pace looks absolutely right. This is not a comedy or a light-hearted series, it is a heavy series, so only if you are fond of watching such content, then you will enjoy watching this series.
Acting
Manav Vij has given a brilliant performance, whether it is attacking a terrorist to save his family or spending time with his children amid the fear of losing his life, Manav has played this character well and he has also suited this character very well. Gaurav Arora is the main villain and his work is tremendous, his eyes create amazing fear and he looks great in his role. Apart from this, Kabir Bedi has looked great, Rajat Kapoor’s work is excellent as always. Arbaaz Khan, Shashank Arora, Arsalan Goni, Mir Sarwar, Rocky Raina, Sahiba Bali, everyone’s work is good.
Direction
Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas have made this series properly, they have understood the pulse of Kashmir and have taken this series forward accordingly. There has been no attempt to make it sensational or dramatic by force. This is a well-thought-out series and such content has its own audience and they will like this series a lot.
