Producer created pressure
Talking to Times of India, Palak told that the producers of the show threatened her. Pressured to reveal the details of the brand with which I worked and received money.
Palak said- They not only threatened me but also demanded me to share the names of the brands with whom I worked and earned money from the shoot. I was shocked and asked questions, because nothing like this had happened to me in the last 5 years. All this is happening because I want to leave the show. This is wrong and not acceptable. They had not sent me the notice till then. But when he realized that I was not scared, he sent a notice on 20th September.
The actress further said- I have worked there with passion and honesty for 5 years, that is why I was not expecting all this from them. The email ID on which he was requesting me to send my resignation was received by me on the same day he sent me the legal notice. In which damages were demanded. They deliberately delayed it so that I could not submit my resignation on time. In these 5 years, I have not been involved in any dispute nor have I received any legal notice. That’s why I had panic attacks because of this whole situation.
Palak further said- I am still shooting for him, even while dealing with health issues. I have also submitted my medical reports. I had requested him to understand my situation and asked for a few days leave. But he made me shoot for 12 hours. I couldn’t even meet anyone and couldn’t even respond to their legal notice. I was stuck on the set. I know how I managed 6-7 days. I was mentally harassed and these were very difficult days for me. They called me on the set and made me sit for 12 hours whereas my work was only 30 hours.
