Suriya would have waited better for 6 months before such a comeback! This movie can give you headache!

The recently released film Kanguva starring Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani does not live up to expectations. Suriya’s return to cinema after 2.5 years was disappointing. The film is based on the story of reincarnation where it tries to connect the stories of 5-6 tribes together, but its execution seems a bit weak. The background music is more irritating than inspiring and to some extent reminds of the irritating songs of Himesh Reshammiya’s films. Songs that could have made the film better seem tired, and the choice of strange dresses also doesn’t inspire. The story is not engaging and the overall experience was not good. Despite the growing popularity of South cinema, Kanguva is struggling to make it to the top 5 worst films list, raising the question whether regional cinema is failing to compete with Bollywood’s recent success.
