Sumit Antil Wins Gold Medal Javelin Throw Paralympics 2024: Sumit Antil has won the gold medal in Paris Paralympics 2024. He won the gold by throwing the javelin 70.59 meters in the Men’s F64 category and also broke the Paralympic record. Earlier also the Paralympic record was in the name of Sumit, who set a record by throwing the javelin 68.55 meters in the Tokyo Paralympics.
Sumit had set a new record by covering a distance of 69.11 meters in his first attempt. But when Sumit threw the javelin for the second time, this time it fell 70.59 meters away. Sumit has achieved the feat of breaking the Paralympic record twice in the same match.
