Actually, Sudha Murthy had said in a video message on the social media platform X that Rani Karnavati of Chittor had sent a Rakhi to the Mughal emperor Humayun in the 16th century, pleading him to save her kingdom. In this video, she was saying that Raksha Bandhan has a long history associated with it. Rani Karnavati started this tradition by sending a Rakhi to Humayun. Since then, this tradition continues even today. After this, she discussed the importance of brother-sister love.
People told the story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi
People on social media did not like this method of Sudha Murthy. One user said that this story is completely wrong. One user commented that you should study history for 20 hours daily. Another has advised her to study 100 hours a week. She wrote that this never happened. Many people appealed to her not to promote such a wrong story. One user has asked that if Humayun had come to save her then why did she commit Jauhar. Amidst these criticisms, some people told the story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi.
