Stock Market Record: The stock market has started very flat but it has immediately reached a record high. The BSE Sensex has crossed the 85300 level for the first time. The NSE Nifty has reached 26,056 and this is its lifetime high level. The BSE Sensex has reached a historic peak of 85,372.17. Today, a slight rise is being seen in IT stocks.
A different kind of trade is being seen in the stock market today and while the BSE Sensex was up by about 160 points in pre-opening, it fell into the range of decline by the time it opened. On the other hand, the Nifty was seen rising in pre-opening and after opening it has reached a record high of 26,051.30.

16 stocks in BSE’s Sensex are trading higher and the highest gains are seen in Maruti, Tata Motors, Nestle and ITC stocks. 28 out of 50 stocks in NSE’s Nifty are trading higher and 22 stocks are trading lower. Bank Nifty is trading at 54,118.25 with a gain of 16.60 points and out of its 12 stocks, 4 stocks are trading higher and 8 stocks are trading lower.
How was the opening of the stock market
BSE’s Sensex today started trading at 85,167 level, down by 2.30 points, however, NSE’s Nifty is seen trading at 26,005 level, up by 1.25 points.
How was the stock market’s move in pre-opening
In the domestic stock market today, the Sensex was trading at the level of 85329 with a gain of 159.97 points or 0.19 percent. The NSE Nifty was trading at the level of 25995 with a decline of only 8.90 percent.
