Stock Market Opening: The Indian stock market has started on a strong note today. In today’s market opening, 1551 stocks of NSE Nifty are seeing a rise and 245 stocks are seeing a decline. This means that the advance-decline ratio is in the market’s favor. Today the midcap index has also opened at a record high. The BSE Sensex has come close to its all-time high.
How was the market opening
Today, the BSE Sensex opened at 82,469.79, up 117.15 points or 0.14 per cent. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty opened at 25,250.50, up 51.80 points or 0.21 per cent.
Day high of Nifty and BSE Sensex
In the stock market, the BSE Sensex has made a day high of 82,617.49 today and it is just a little away from its all-time high of 82,725.28. At the same time, the Nifty has come to the level of 25,275.45 and has come very close to its all-time high of 25,333.65. Bank Nifty is also trading with good momentum and it is trading at 51,466.30 with a gain of 66.05 points or 0.13 percent.
How is the condition of shares in BSE’s Sensex
Out of its 30 stocks, 13 stocks are witnessing a rise while 17 stocks are trading with a fall. Apart from this, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Titan, ITC, JSW Steel are witnessing the highest rise among the stocks that have risen the most today and apart from this, the stocks that have fallen include HCL Tech, Nestle, Maruti, BHEL, TCS and M&M.
Market Capitalization of BSE
The market capitalization of BSE has reached Rs 466.81 lakh crore. 3235 shares of BSE are being traded today and 2305 shares are seeing a rise. 816 shares are in the green and 114 shares are trading unchanged. 138 shares have hit an upper circuit and 49 shares are seeing a decline.
