Many photos and videos are becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, it can be seen that police teams are patrolling the streets in Paris, fighter jets are flying in the sky and the army contingent has been prepared in such a way that in case of an emergency, they can reach any sports venue or sports village within half an hour. Earlier, there was a plan to keep the banks of the Seine river open during the opening ceremony, but now security barriers are being installed on both sides. In fact, it is believed that about 10,000 army personnel have been deployed along with 45,000 police for the Paris Games amid the ongoing war in Ukraine and Gaza and increasing international tension.
Let us tell you that the opening ceremony is to be organized near the Seine River. Therefore, an area of 150 kilometers around the Seine River will be declared a no-fly zone. Meanwhile, Home Minister Gerald Darmanin said that we are especially investigating Russian and Belarusian citizens. They are also being kept away from the opening ceremony and the games, in some cases the police are searching their homes and computers for weapons.
