Sikanzar Raza Fastest T20I Hundred ZIM vs GAM: A flurry of records has been set in the Zimbabwe vs Gambia T20 match. In the Africa Qualifier tournament of the Men’s T20 World Cup, Zimbabwe, batting first, scored 344 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In this match, 3 Zimbabwe batsmen scored fifty and Sikandar Raza also scored a century. This century of Sikandar K has left behind the big giants in the matter of scoring the fastest century in International T20 cricket.
Rohit-Miller all left behind
Sikandar Raza came to the crease to bat in the 8th over of Zimbabwe’s innings. The team’s score had reached 115 runs in the first 7 overs and after that Sikandar also batted in a stormy manner. He thrashed Gambia’s bowlers and completed his fifty in 20 balls, but scored the next 50 runs in the next 13 balls. In this way, he completed his century in just 33 balls, due to which he has now become the second fastest batsman to score a century in T20 cricket history.
Big names like Rohit Sharma and David Miller are also included in this list, both of them have scored centuries in T20 matches in 35 balls. But Sikandar Raza has now gone ahead of him by completing his century in 33 balls. Talking about ICC full member countries, Sikandar Raza has now become the player to score the fastest century among them. He hit 15 sixes and 7 fours during his unbeaten innings of 133 runs in 43 balls. Alexander has also become the first Zimbabwean player to score a century in International T20 cricket. Thanks to his century, Zimbabwe has managed to score 344 runs i.e. the biggest score in the history of T20 cricket.
