India vs New Zealand 2nd Test: The second match of the Test series between India and New Zealand will be played in Pune from 24th October. Shubhman Gill can join the playing eleven of Team India for this match. There is a good news regarding Gill. According to reports, he is completely fit. Shubman could not play in the first match of the Test series. Team India had to face defeat in this match. In the absence of Gill, Team India had given place to Sarfaraz Khan in the playing eleven.
Team India has reached Pune for the second test match. The team’s assistant coach Ryan Doschett reacted to Shubman Gill on Tuesday. According to a news from Cricinfo, he said, “I think Gill will be fit for the Pune Test. Right now he has only a slight problem.” Shubman could not play in the first match of the Test series. If he returns to the playing eleven, he can bat at number three.
If Gill returns, whose card will be cut?
If Shubman Gill returns to the playing eleven then KL Rahul can be given a break. Rahul could not do anything special in the last test match. But Sarfaraz Khan had given a strong performance. He scored 150 runs in the second innings. Sarfaraz also made a big partnership with Rishabh Pant. But Rahul was a flop. Therefore they can be thrown out.

Team India’s assistant coach Doschet has also given an update on Pant’s injury. He said, “Pant is quite fine. I think Rohit Sharma has already talked to him on this issue. He will be fine in the second Test match also.” Actually, Rishabh Pant was injured during the first Test match. His knee was injured.
