Shubman Gill and Bhuvneshwar Kumar SENA Test: Shubman Gill has not been able to do anything special so far in the Tests played outside Asia. Gill’s record, especially in SENA countries, is so bad that even fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has scored almost the same number of runs as him. You must have been shocked to hear this, but it is true. These days Gill is present in Australia with Team India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Gill is playing the second test on Australia tour. Gill could not participate in the first Test of the series played in Perth. After this, Gill scored 31 and 28 runs in both the innings of the Pink Ball Test played in Adelaide. After this, in the first innings of the Test being played at Gabba, Gill returned to the pavilion after scoring only 01 run.
If we talk about Gill’s batting record in Tests played in international countries i.e. South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia, it is very similar to the record of fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Let us tell you that till now Gill and Bhuvneshwar have not played Test in New Zealand.
