Shekhar Home Review: When it comes to detective web series, you think that there will be suspense in it, cases will be revealed, there will be thrill but if along with all this there is a climax that blows your mind then it is fun, the same happens in Shekhar Home, this series is inspired by Sherlock Homes and this inspiration has been taken very carefully, you cannot even imagine from where the series starts and where it ends, while watching it you yourself will become a detective and all your guesses will fail.
Story
This is the story of Shekhar Home who is a detective, this character is played by KK Menon, obviously since he is a detective, he will come across many cases, such cases come in this 6 episode series and each case is different which has its own thrill. Shekhar solves these cases along with his assistant Ranveer Shouri i.e. Jayvrat Saini. A new case in every episode, but 5 cases in 6 episodes because the last case and the climax is the biggest case and the biggest twist, so not much can be told about the story, watch it, you will enjoy it.
how is the series
This series hooks you from the beginning, and every time something happens that you don’t expect, every time there is a twist that you cannot predict. Shekhar and Jayvrat work in a unique style in Lonpur, West Bengal. The writing of the series is amazing, there are no big action scenes, no unnecessary drama is created. You get attached to the writing of the series and want to know what will happen in the next scene and what happens surprises you every time.
Acting
KK Menon has done a wonderful job, he has brought life into the character of Shekhar Home. KK Menon is rarely seen in such a playful role, but here he plays this character in his own way and touches your heart. Everyone knows that Ranveer Shorey is a wonderful actor and after Bigg Boss OTT 3, it is fun to watch him. Ranveer looks completely fit in this character, Rasika Duggal’s work is amazing, it seems that when will she do what, she creates all the ruckus with her expressions. Kirti Kulhari’s work is also excellent, Dibyendu Bhattacharya has once again done a great job, Shernaz Patel’s acting is very good and she looks very cute.
Direction
Rohan Sippy and Srijit Mukherjee have directed it together and they have done their homework. The way they have divided each episode is amazing. In each episode, they create interest in a case and then solve it, keeping in mind that the interest is maintained and there is no boredom. Both of them have done this job very well and the last two episodes are amazing.
Overall, this web series is interesting, people who are fond of watching detective content will like it a lot, you can watch it on Jio Cinema.
