Share Market Opening 27 September: The domestic stock market made a sluggish start to trading on Friday after continuously recording new high levels. There is pressure on the market in the initial session on the last day of the week, due to which trading opened almost flat.
At 9.15 am, the Sensex opened at 85,893.84 points with a rise of about 60 points. Nifty started with a gain of about 32 points at 26,248.25 points. In the first few minutes of trading, the market was seen in a limited range. At 9:20 am, Sensex was trading at 85,870 points with a gain of just 35 points and Nifty was trading at 26,235 points with a gain of just 16 points.
Such signals were received before the market opened
Before the start of trading in the domestic market, there were indications that the rise may continue even on the last day of the week. In the pre-open session, the Sensex was near 85,900 points with a gain of about 60 points, while the Nifty was near 26,250 points with a gain of about 30 points. In the morning, Nifty futures in GIFT City were near 26,630 points with a premium of about 50 points.
New records made continuously this week
The domestic stock market has continuously recorded new high levels during this week. The market had started the week with a new high level. The process of making records continued yesterday, Thursday also. In Thursday’s trading, Sensex made a new high of 85,930.43 points and Nifty made a new high of 26,250.90 points. After the end of trading, Sensex closed at 85,836.12 points with a gain of 666.25 points (0.78 percent) and Nifty closed at 26,216.05 points with a gain of 211.90 points (0.81 percent).
The global market remains bullish
American markets closed strongly on Thursday. On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.62 percent higher. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.40 percent and the tech-focused index Nasdaq rose by 0.60 percent. The S&P 500 made a new all-time high of 5,767.37 points yesterday. Today on Friday there is a mixed trend in the Asian market. Japan’s Nikkei is up by 0.52 percent, while Topix is in loss by 0.23 percent. South Korea’s Kospi is in loss of 0.18 percent and Kosdaq is in loss of 0.15 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index is showing signs of a good start.
Big shares of Sensex in early trade
In early trading, almost half the shares on Sensex are trading in the red. IT shares are showing great growth in the initial session. Infosys is the strongest at around 2.60 percent. Tech Mahindra is also up by more than two and a half percent. Shares of HCL Tech and TCS are also in profit of more than 2 percent. On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation has fallen the most by 2.27 percent, L&T by about 2 percent and Bharti Airtel by about 2 percent.
