Share Market Opening 13 September: After setting a new historical high a day ago, the domestic stock market is witnessing profit booking pressure today on Friday. Both the major domestic stock indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty have started trading with a slight decline.
At 9:15 am, the Sensex opened with a loss of more than 100 points. Nifty also started with a loss of about 25 points. At 9:20 am, the Sensex had fallen by about 120 points and was trading below 82,850 points. At the same time, the NSE Nifty 50 index was near 25,350 points with a loss of about 40 points.
Such signals were received before the market opened
Before the start of trading in the domestic market, there were indications that the momentum of the previous day could continue. In the pre-open session, the Sensex was trading near 83,100 points with a gain of about 130 points, while the Nifty had crossed 25,430 points with a gain of about 42 points. Before the market opened, the Nifty futures in Gift City were trading at 25,390 points with a premium of about 56 points. However, the market went into the red mark as soon as it opened.
Sensex reaches new record level
Earlier on Thursday, a tremendous surge was seen in the domestic market and the market was successful in touching new peaks. In yesterday’s trading, the Sensex closed at 82,962.71 points with a tremendous gain of 1,439.55 points (1.77%). Before that, the Sensex had touched a new all-time high level of 83,116.19 points intraday.
Nifty50 index also made a record
Similarly, there was a tremendous rise in the NSE’s Nifty50 index. After the end of trading, Nifty50 closed at 25,388.90 points with a tremendous rise of 470.45 points (1.89%). During the day’s trading, Nifty touched a new all-time high level of 25,433.35 points.
Global stock markets are on the rise
The US market rose on Thursday. On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.58 percent. The S&P 500 index rose 0.75 percent and the tech-focused index Nasdaq rose 1 percent. Today, the Asian market is showing a mixed trend. Japan’s Nikkei has fallen 0.43 percent, while the Topix index has fallen 0.58 percent. South Korea’s Kospi and Kosdaq are flat. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index is showing signs of a bullish start today.
Condition of big stocks in early trade
In early trade, about 20 shares on Sensex are in loss. Shares of Tata Steel and JSW Steel have gained more than 1 percent each. On the other hand, Asian Paints has fallen by 1.65 percent. Shares like Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Finance, ITC, Infosys have also fallen in the negative zone in early trade.
