Mother Skandmata’s day is on the 5th day of Shardiya Navratri. Skandamata has four arms. In the right arm of the mother, Lord Skanda is in the lap of the mother, while in the left arm there is a lotus.
It is believed that by fasting during the worship of Skandmata, the seeker gets auspicious results. Negative powers never dominate the devotees who receive the blessings of Skandmata.
To please Skandmata, you can also wear clothes of the mother’s favorite color. Skandmata is considered to be the giver of power, who never lets her devotees get disappointed.
Mother is pleased with those who worship Skandmata. By worshiping the Mother Goddess one attains strength, prosperity and salvation.
On the 5th day of Navratri, one should wear white colored clothes for Skandamata. White color is mother’s favorite color.
White color is a symbol of peace, happiness and prosperity. Skandamata likes white colour.
