Who is Shani (Shani Kaun Hai)
Descriptions about Shani are also found in Padma Purana and Brahmavaivart Purana. According to a mythological story, once the goddess of wealth Lakshmi asked Shani Dev – “O! Shani Dev, you cause loss of wealth to all people, why do all remain afflicted by your sight.”
Shani Dev replied- “Mother, I am not at fault in this. Lord Shiva has made him the judge of the three worlds. So whoever does wrong and immoral act, he has to be punished.”
Who should not be afraid of Shani (How to avoid Shani)
If you want to avoid the cruel sight of Shani then you should never do those things which are wrong. Shani does not forgive those people who do not follow the rules, harass others, try to snatch their wealth, land, honour and respect at any cost. When the time comes, Shani Dev punishes them for these wrong deeds.
What to do to keep Shani calm (Shani Upay)
Shani (Shani Dev) does not like people who lie and show off, so one should avoid them. To ensure that Shani gives auspicious results in life and does not cause any harm, help the weak and work for their welfare. Do not harass those people who work hard to feed themselves and their families. Shani gives terrible consequences on doing this, even the future children have to bear the punishment for such sins.
Therefore, speak sweetly to them as much as possible, help them. Motivate them to move forward. If you do this, Shani (Shani Dev) will definitely give you auspicious results and make you achieve great success in life.
