Actually, Kajol and Shahrukh Khan first met on the sets of the 1993 film ‘Baazigar’. This film was directed by the duo of Abbas-Mustan. Kajol and Shahrukh Khan met for the first time on the first day of shooting of the film. Shahrukh narrated an incident during this period in which he told how he got upset with Kajol.
King Khan definitely works on a date
Shahrukh Khan told in Kapil Sharma’s show that the shooting of ‘Baazigar’ started in the bitter cold of January. January 1 was the first day of shooting and King Khan has a rule that he works on one date only. He had said in the show- ‘I met Kajol for the first time on the sets of Baazigar and very few people know this story. It was 31st December, on 1st we all were worried because shooting had to be done early in the morning. I have a rule that I work on a particular date whether it is suitable for work or not.
The camera man was arrested
Shahrukh Khan further says- ‘We all were very worried. Our camera man drank too much alcohol and was arrested in the night. He had not reached the set and Abbas Bhai and Mastan Bhai were also sitting quietly. They remain silent anyway. Everyone was in peace, no one was talking to anyone and Kajol came and talked so much.
‘I will never work with this’
King Khan says- ‘I remember our make-up artist was Ravi Dada, Kajol went to him and said that your hero is very quiet, doesn’t he talk? I am telling the truth, I am swearing on my livelihood, I said I will never work with this.
