Shabana Azmi On Shatrughan Sinha: Shabana Azam is one of the veteran actresses of Bollywood. Even today Shabana Azmi is active in the world of acting and is winning people’s hearts with her brilliant acting. He has worked with many big artists from Rajesh Khanna to Shatrughan Sinha. Shabana Azmi has recently revealed in an interview which actors were always late on the set and which were punctual.
Shabana Azmi, in a special conversation with Radio Nasha, recalled an incident. She told that we worked together in 12 films and I was working with Sanjeev Kumar in Namkeen. The shooting of the film was being done in Filmcity and the shift started at 7 am but Sanjeev Kumar never came before 11:30 am. I used to request my mother that mother, please don’t wake me up early, heroes never come on time. Although his mother never encouraged this indiscipline.
Shatrughan Sinha was also late
Shabana Azmi further said- ‘My mother herself was an actress and came from a theater background. She used to advise me son, this has nothing to do with you. You have promised your producer to come at 7 o’clock, so you should follow that. Even if the shoot doesn’t start. Shabana Azmi again talked about Shatrughan Sinha. She said- After the shooting of Namkeen, she used to go to Filmistan because there she used to shoot in shifts of 2-10 but Shatrughan Sinha used to come at 7 in the evening. Rajesh Khanna was better in terms of time than Sanjeev Kumar and Shatrughan Sinha.
Shabana said- I think many changes have come in Bollywood now. But at that time, Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan were two people who were punctual.
Talking about the work front, Shabana Azmi was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Dharmendra was also seen playing an important role along with her in the film. There was also a kissing scene of Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in the film.
