Irani Cup Squads Mumbai vs Rest of India: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the squads of Mumbai and Rest of India for the Irani Cup 2024. These squads have come into the limelight because they include 3 players who have been asked to play in the Irani Cup by dropping them from the Indian team selected against Bangladesh. Will the exclusion of these 3 players make it easier for Bangladesh to win the second Test?
India vs Bangladesh second test match will be played in Kanpur from 27 September. Most of the players including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have reached Kanpur for the second test match and special care is being taken for their security. After seeing the performance of the first match, there is very little chance of any change in the playing eleven of the second test.
3 players will not play the second test
The names of these three players are Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal. Let us tell you that these three players were also included in the 15-member team of the first test against Bangladesh but they did not get a chance in the playing eleven. Now due to the responsibility of Irani Cup, Sarfaraz, Dhruv and Yash are going to miss the second test as well.
