The film we are talking about was being directed by Remo D’Souza. According to The Lallantop, it was a dance based film named ‘Dancing Dad’. It was the story of a father whose daughter wants to be a part of a dancing reality show. Salman Khan was to play the role of a father in this film and he had agreed to do it. But the superstar felt that perhaps he was not ready for a dance based film yet.
Salman Khan worked hard day and night
Salman Khan had also started taking dance training to keep himself fit for the film. Meanwhile, Ramesh Taurani came to Salman with the script of a new film. Salman did not want to say no to him, so he decided to stop ‘Dancing Dad’ and complete Ramesh Taurani’s film first. This film was ‘Race 3’, which after its release was not as successful as expected.
Abhishek Bachchan got Salman’s film
After ‘Race 3’, Remo D’Souza thought that now Salman Khan will be able to focus on ‘Dancing Dad’. But this did not happen because Salman distanced himself from this film and then this film was left incomplete. Later Remo D’Souza decided that he would make this film with some other actor and in this way this film came in the hands of Abhishek Bachchan. This film which started with the name ‘Dancing Daddy’ was later named ‘Be Happy’.
‘Be Happy’ will stream on Prime Video
‘Be Happy’ is all set for its release, although the makers have not yet revealed the release date of the film. This film directed by Remo D’Souza will stream on the OTT platform Prime Video.
