Salman Khan in Bigg Boss 18: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan finally spoke about his viral video from 1998, in which he was at a police station in Jodhpur over the infamous blackbuck poaching case and was tagged as being ‘arrogant’.
In the video, the actor was present in the police station and due to his body language, he was described as arrogant. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman recalled that moment while talking to Rajat Dalal on the show.
What did Salman Khan say on his old video?
Talking about his old videos, Salman said, “If you have seen my old clips, you might feel that look at Salman Khan, he is sitting so arrogantly in the police station. But I had no involvement at all. Why should I be afraid of going there?”
The ‘Dabangg’ star said that now when he looks back, he realizes that despite his involvement in the blackbuck poaching case, he should have respected the uniform.
Salman said that he had done this act in childhood
He said, “When an officer or a senior person comes, you stand up and respect their badge and their uniform. Today when I watch those old clips, I myself do not feel good about that incident. I remember it as a child. I did that thing.”
“I have a way of walking, a body language, which I can’t change now, but people think it’s arrogance. No, it’s not.”
The star was then seen convincing Rajat to talk about his “connection” to the outside world.
“When we were 17-18 years old, we all said goodbye to our previous life. I went and apologized to everyone. I left all the fights and became a hero. Everyone supported me in this journey. If you want to start working in this industry then it should be like this.”
