Sachin Tendulkar Border Gavaskar Trophy: Two senior players of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently struggling with poor form. Now, just a few days before the start of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, former Indian cricketer WV Raman has advised BCCI to take the help of Sachin Tendulkar in bringing Virat-Rohit out of poor form. Indian batting came under criticism when 37 wickets of India in 3 test matches fell against spin bowling. Whereas Rohit and Kohli were able to score 91 and 93 runs respectively in three test matches.
WV Raman, who has been the head coach of the Indian women’s cricket team, said through social media, “I think the players can benefit if BCCI brings Sachin Tendulkar as a batting consultant for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.” There are still a lot of days left for the second Test match. Bringing in a consultant is not a new thing these days.”
I think that #TeamIndia could benefit if they have the services of #Tendulkar as the batting consultant in their prep for the #BGT2025Enough time between now and the 2nd test. Roping in consultants is rather common these days. Worth a thought? #bcci #Cricket

Virat Kohli was seen struggling on the England tour about 10 years ago. In the series against England in 2014, Kohli scored only 134 runs in five innings. While discussing many years later, Virat Kohli had told how he was able to improve his batting after the advice of Sachin Tendulkar.
Virat told, “I spoke to Sachin Tendulkar after coming back from England and also practiced with him in Mumbai. I told him that I am working on my hip position. He told me that walking with long steps is very beneficial. How can a slight forward lean be beneficial against fast bowlers? As soon as I combined these things with my hip position, everything went well. After that, when there was Australian tour, Kohli scored 692 runs at an average of 86.50.
