On the fourth ball of the 50th over of the innings, Liton Das tried to hit Mohammad Siraj for a four. Stepping out, Liton Das swung the bat rapidly in the off-side direction, the ball was about to go over the head of Rohit Sharma in the 30 yard circle when the Indian captain jumped in the air and caught it and completed the catch. The rain troubled me
Let us tell you that rain has caused a lot of trouble in the match so far. Due to rain on the very first day of the match which started on 27 September, the game started with a delay of one hour. Then during lunch also there was some interruption due to rain.
After this, the second day of play was canceled without the ball being bowled due to rain. Then on the third day also a similar scene was seen. The third day was also canceled without a ball being bowled. Although there was no rain on the third day, the wet ground did not allow the play to start on the third day.
Team India has won the first test
It is noteworthy that the first match of the two-match Test series was played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Team India won the Chennai Test by 280 runs.
