IND vs BAN 1st Test: A two-match Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh from September 19. The first match of the series will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Before this match, the entire Team India including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will gather in Chennai, it has been claimed in media reports. Then the practice camp will start from the next day i.e. Friday, which will run till September 18.
Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are on a break since the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Both the veterans are not taking part in the Dilip Trophy being played these days. Apart from this, Jaspreet Bumrah, who has been on a continuous break after the T20 World Cup final, will also return through the Bangladesh Test. Bumrah will also be a part of the practice camp along with the entire team.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma was seen working a lot on his fitness during the break. He was seen in the gym many times. Apart from this, Hitman was also seen many times with Team India’s assistant coach Abhishek Nair. He is sweating a lot in the gym.
It is worth noting that BCCI has currently announced Team India only for the first Test against Bangladesh. Uncapped fast bowler Yash Dayal has been included in the team for the first Test. Apart from this, many youngsters have been given a chance in the team, who have not played many Tests for India. Rishabh Pant will return to the Test team through the remaining Bangladesh Tests.
