In the test match against New Zealand, Rohit scored only 2 runs in the first innings, but he scored a half-century of 52 runs in the second innings.
The viral video of Rohit Sharma was taken after the end of the fourth day’s play. Rohit was leaving the field when a fan asked him which team he was going to join for IPL 2025. Rohit replied by asking which team the fan wanted to send him to. The reaction of the fans that came after that has created a stir on the internet. That fan said, “Brother, come to RCB, man.” Rohit Sharma left from there without saying anything.

Will MI retain Rohit Sharma?
BCCI had released its retention policy a few days ago, under which a team can retain 5 players and apart from that, it can also play the Right to Match (RTM) card on one player. The team can change the number of retained and RTM players as per its convenience. Now all IPL teams have to submit their retention list to BCCI by 31st October.
Meanwhile, a media report revealed that Mumbai Indians can retain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar, Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah before the mega auction of IPL 2025.
