Robin Uthappa Furious CSK: IPL 2025 is slowly getting closer. Things are becoming clear regarding the tournament before the season. First the retention list of players was released and then the place for the mega auction was decided. But amidst all this, former Team India batsman Robin Uthappa scolded Chennai Super Kings. So let us know what and why Uthappa told Chennai.
This matter is related to the three-match Test series played recently between India and New Zealand. Actually Rachin Ravindra had come to CSK Academy for the Test series, where he practiced. Uthappa said that Chennai Super Kings should keep in mind that it is not right to help the players of the franchise in front of the country. He said that when it comes to the country, there should be a line drawn with the players of the franchise.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Uthappa said, “Rachin Ravindra came here and practiced at CSK Academy. CSK is a great franchise which will always take care of its players but a line has to be drawn where the interest of the country comes before the interest of your franchise players. Especially when he is a foreign player and plays against the country.”
Uthappa further said, “I am not surprised CSK always comes forward for its players but somewhere in that kindness, maybe I am not saying the right thing, I obviously love CSK, but when it comes to the country. If it comes, there should be a line somewhere where we should not cross that line.”
