Rishabh Pant Good Bye To Delhi Capitals: Rishabh Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants in the mega auction of IPL 2025. The Lucknow team made its share by paying a hefty sum of Rs 27 crore to Pant. Earlier, Pant was a part of Delhi Capitals. Pant was not only a part of Delhi, but he commanded Delhi till last season. Now Pant could not bear the sudden separation from Delhi and he wrote an emotional post.
The thing to note is that Pant made his IPL debut in 2016 for Delhi Capitals. Pant played for only one team Delhi Capitals in IPL till 2024. Now in IPL 2025, he will be seen playing for another team Lucknow Super Giants.
Saying goodbye to Delhi Capitals, Pant wrote in a post, “Saying goodbye is never easy. The journey with Delhi Capitals has been nothing short of amazing. From the thrills on the field to the moments off it, I have grown in ways that I have never seen before.” “I never imagined that I came here as a teenager and we have grown up together in the last nine years.”
Pant further wrote, “What has made this journey worthwhile is you, fans… You hugged me, encouraged me and stood by me through one of the toughest moments of my life, as I Moving forward, I keep your love and support in my heart. I will be there to entertain you whenever I take the field. Thank you for being my family and making this journey so special.”

It is noteworthy that Rishabh Pant has played 111 matches in his IPL career so far. In 110 innings of these matches, he has scored 3284 runs at an average of 35.31 and strike rate of 148.93. During this period, he scored 1 century and 18 half-centuries.
