Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant Run Out: On the fourth day of the India vs Bangladesh second test match, the game could finally proceed without any hindrance. Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to a score of 233 runs, whereas during the Indian innings, when Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were at the crease, a funny incident happened. Kohli came to bat in the third session of the day, but due to lack of coordination with Rishabh Pant, he was almost run out.
This matter is of the 19th over of Team India’s innings. Khalid Ahmed was bowling, but his first ball was a no ball, on which Rishabh Pant took a run. When the first ball was bowled again, the ball took the inner edge of Virat’s bat and fell near the stumps. Virat had no idea where the ball had gone and seeing Pant running, he also ran to score runs. Kohli had reached almost half the pitch and on the other side the ball was in the hands of Khalid Ahmed.
Ahmed could have easily run out Kohli, but he threw the ball from a distance. In such a situation, the ball missed the stumps and Kohli also narrowly escaped being run out. On one hand, Virat and Pant hugged after this incident, while Bangladeshi wicketkeeper Liton Das was seen giving a serious look at this mistake of Ahmed.
