Rishabh Pant Team India: Gautam Gambhir is the new head coach of Team India. Rahul Dravid’s tenure ended after the T20 World Cup 2024. Gambhir got the responsibility after him. Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant recently pointed out the difference in the behavior of Gambhir and Dravid. Pant said that Gambhir particularly favors one thing. He believes in winning. Pant reacted to Dravid’s behavior and way of thinking.
According to a report in ‘Hindustan Times’, Pant said, “I think Rahul bhai (Rahul Dravid) has been quite balanced as a coach and a human being. This can be both good and bad. It can be taken positively or negatively. But it depends on the person how he thinks. Gauti bhai (Gautam Gambhir) is more aggressive in his thinking. He is more in favour of the fact that we have to win. But for this, the right balance is needed.”
Rishabh Pant is currently playing in the Duleep Trophy 2024. However, his start was not good. Pant was out after scoring just 7 runs in the first innings of the first match. A Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh from September 19. Pant may get a place in Team India for this series. Pant was also given a chance for the series played between India and Sri Lanka.
