Rishabh Pant compliment to Paris Olympics Indian Athletes: Indian cricket team star Rishabh Pant has praised the excellent performance of Indian players in Paris Olympics 2024. India won a total of six medals in this Olympics with one silver and five bronze medals. Pant shared an emotional post on social media and praised the dedication and hard work of the Indian players and saluted them wholeheartedly.
Rishabh Pant has posted a montage on his social media, which includes special moments of Indian athletes during the Olympics 2024. Along with this, the song “Maa Tujhe Salaam” has also been added to that montage.
He wrote in the caption of this post, “Being a player, I can understand how much hard work and sacrifice our athletes must have made to make the country proud. All the players who participated in the Olympics have made us feel proud. I am sure they must have learned a lot from these games. Best wishes from me to all the winners and participants. Jai Hind!”
Historic achievements of Indian athletes at Paris Olympics
- manu bhaker has added a new chapter to Indian shooting history. She became the first Indian shooter to win an Olympic medal and also the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the same Olympic Games edition. She won bronze medals in the women’s 10m air pistol and mixed team 10m air pistol events.
- Swapnil Kusale also created history. He became the first Indian shooter to win an Olympic medal in the 50m air rifle 3 position event. Apart from this, he also became the first Indian rifle shooter to qualify for the finals in this event.
- Aman Sehrawat Aman created a new record in the history of wrestling. He became the youngest Indian athlete to win an Olympic medal. At the age of just 21 years and 24 days, he won the bronze medal in the 57 kg freestyle category. Aman broke the record of PV Sindhu, who had made this record at the age of 21 years, 1 month and 14 days when she won the silver medal in badminton at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
