Ravindra Jadeja joined BJP: Indian cricket team’s veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has entered politics. He has become a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja is a BJP MLA from Jamnagar, Gujarat. Rivaba recently shared information about Jadeja through social media. She told through a post that Ravindra Jadeja has taken membership of BJP. Jadeja recently announced his retirement from this format after the T20 World Cup 2024.
Ravindra Jadeja has done election campaigns with wife Rivaba many times. He was seen campaigning for BJP with wife Rivaba during the elections. He also did many road shows. Jadeja’s wife Rivaba is an MLA from Jamnagar North seat. Now Ravindra Jadeja has taken membership of BJP. Rivaba has shared a post on Instagram. Through this, he told that Ravindra Jadeja has become a primary member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. After the T20 World Cup 2024, Rivaba and Ravindra Jadeja met Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Team India.
Jadeja has performed brilliantly for Team India. His international record has been good. Jadeja announced his retirement from the T20 International format after the T20 World Cup 2024. Jadeja has played 74 T20 matches for India. During this, he has scored 515 runs. He has also taken 54 wickets in this format. Jadeja’s best performance in a match has been taking 3 wickets for 15 runs. Jadeja will still play ODIs and Tests for India. Along with him, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli also announced their retirement from the T20 format.
