Ratan Tata handed over the command of Tata Sons to N Chandrasekaran after Cyrus Mistry. He shared his memories related to Ratan Tata through a special post on Monday.
As soon as I came in contact with Ratan Tata, I started feeling changes.
Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran wrote that there can be no one else like Ratan Tata. He left his impact on every person who came in contact with him. He was an excellent leader. He worked for the welfare of employees, society, country, business and even animals. He used to dream of taking the country forward. N Chandrasekaran got the command of Tata Sons in the year 2017. Recalling this, he wrote that earlier our relationship was professional. Then gradually a personal relationship was formed with him. He will always be alive in our memories.
Took special care of employees and their families
N Chandrasekaran wrote that he thought very seriously about his employees and their families. He took great care of these things including finding solutions to every problem. When controversies arose in Tata Motors in the year 2017, they paid maximum attention to ensure that no employee was adversely affected. He talked to the union leaders along with me. He apologized that the problem could not be resolved sooner. He had similar views about the employees of every company of Tata Group. This was the reason why Tata Group gave many excellent business leaders to the business world.
Bombay House will be transformed to take care of stray dogs
He said that we will fulfill his dream to take care of the stray dogs. For this, necessary changes are being made in Bombay House, the headquarters of Tata Group. He was very happy to see its design. Ratan Tata died on 9 October at the age of 86. His funeral was performed with full state honours. After his departure, Noel Tata has been given the responsibility of Tata Trusts.
