KSCA T20 Mysore Warriors Welcome Samit Dravid: Former Team India head coach Rahul Dravid has made many contributions to Indian cricket in his cricket career so far. His elder son Samit Dravid is also making his career in cricket. Samit Dravid has entered the Mysore Warriors of the cricket league Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 to be held in Karnataka. In the upcoming Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 auction, Mysore Warriors have bid on him and given him a place in their team.
How much was the bid for Samit Dravid?
Mysore Warriors have bought middle order batsman and fast bowler Samit Dravid for Rs 50,000. A Mysore Warriors official said, “It is good to have Samit in our team as he has performed very well in various age group tournaments for KSCA.”
Samit Dravid was part of the Karnataka Under-19 team that won the Cooch Behar Trophy this season and also played for KSCA XI against Lancashire earlier this year.
Last season’s runners-up Mysore Warriors will be captained by Karun Nair and their bowling will be strengthened by the presence of Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna, who has been bought for Rs 1 lakh.
Nair was retained by the franchise, while Prasidh recently underwent surgery on his left knee and is trying to make a comeback to top-level cricket.
