Pushpa 2 Tragedy: The craze of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 has gone crazy. The premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule was held at Sandhya Theater located at RTC intersection in Hyderabad on Wednesday midnight. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna also attended this premiere. A large number of people also reached there to see their favorite star, due to which a stampede broke out and one woman died while two people were injured. The police even had to resort to lathicharge to control the situation.
Woman dies in chaos during Pushpa 2 premiere
It is being told that Revati (39), resident of Dilsukhnagar, had attended the screening with her husband Bhaskar and her two sons. When Revati and her family were coming out of the theatre, a stampede broke out. Reports suggest that fans rushed to the theater to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun, and pushed people outside. In this incident Revathi and her son Shri Tej became unconscious.
Police personnel and bystanders immediately gave CPR to Revathi and her son, who were later taken to a nearby hospital. The boy was shifted to a super-speciality hospital, where his condition remains critical. But Revathi succumbed to her injuries. Revathi’s body has been taken to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem.

what the eyewitnesses said
Eyewitnesses revealed that when the news of Allu Arjun’s arrival at the event spread, the situation went out of control. When the fans tried to go near the superstar, a huge crowd gathered, causing chaos. The police already deployed at the spot resorted to mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd, but due to the uproar, Revathi and her son were crushed to death in the melee. Authorities cordoned off the area, closed the theater gates and called in reinforcements to control the crowd.
