Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection: This year’s much awaited film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is ready for release this week. The entire star cast including Allu Arjun is continuously promoting the film and is adopting every trick to increase the buzz of the film among the fans. Its buzz is so high that it is going to break all the records of earning at the box office.
Pushpa 2 has made bumper earnings in advance booking.
The craze of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is such that despite the tickets being expensive, strong advance booking is being done. Till 3 pm on Tuesday, more than 13 lakh tickets of this film have been booked. Till now it has earned Rs 41 crore in advance booking. And with block seats it is 55 crores. These figures are till 4 pm on 3rd December.
According to SACNILC report, maximum advance booking has been done in Telangana. Here the film has earned Rs 12.22 crore (17.47 crore) in advance booking. Karnataka is at second place where bookings worth Rs 5.25 crore (7.13 crore) have been done.
Pushpa 2 also made the record of selling the most expensive ticket.
This film has also made the record of selling the most expensive tickets in Telugu. In Delhi, ‘Pushpa 2’ tickets are being sold for up to Rs 1,800 (Gold). In Mumbai and Bengaluru, the most expensive tickets are being sold for Rs 1,600 and Rs 1,000.
Ticket price in single screen and multiplex
The makers have taken permission from the Andhra Pradesh government to increase the ticket price. Andhra Pradesh government has also allowed that the makers can show six shows of ‘Pushpa 2’ in single screens and multiplexes. Their prices are also fixed. The ticket price will be ₹ 324.50 in single screen and ₹ 413 in multiplex. Apart from this, makers can show five shows at the same ticket price for the next 12 days from 6th to 17th December. After this decision, Allu Arjun himself has expressed his gratitude to the government.

Ticket prices increased in Telangana also
Telangana government has also been in trouble for expensive tickets. Ticket prices in Telangana have been fixed at ₹1,200 (paid preview), ₹531 (multiplex) and ₹354 (single screen). A petition has also been filed against this in the Telangana High Court, which will be heard today on 3rd December.
Paid preview of ‘Pushpa 2’ on 4th December
According to the report of India Today, a paid preview of this film has also been kept on December 4, a day before its release. Its ticket price has been kept at Rs 944. These shows can be seen at 9.30 pm.
Budget and First Day Box Office Prediction
According to reports, the budget of Pushpa 2 is around Rs 500 crore. This time the makers have targeted the North and that is why the trailer was launched in Patna. Then promotional events were organized in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
The way this film was aggressively marketed and the strategy made for its release is absolutely perfect. Now it is believed that the film will get a record breaking opening.
Hindi version of ‘Pushpa 2’ can break the record of ‘Jawaan’ on the opening day.
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, ‘Pushpa 2’ will become the biggest opener film of this year. The Hindi version of this film can earn around Rs 60 crores. It is also possible that it may challenge ‘Jawaan’ whose Hindi version had earned Rs 66 crore on the first day.
‘Pushpa 2’ created history by selling 1 million tickets
‘Pushpa 2’ has made the record of fastest booking of one million tickets on Book My Show. This record was earlier held by ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, ‘Bahubali 2’ and ‘KGF Chapter 2’.
Opening day box office prediction of ‘Pushpa 2’
Interestingly, the record of highest opening day earning in Indian cinema is also held by RRR (2022) which earned worldwide gross of Rs 223 crore on the first day. Looking at the advance booking so far, it is being speculated that Pushpa 2 can make this record.
Trade website Sacknilk predicts that Pushpa 2 can make a worldwide gross collection of Rs 300 crore on the opening day.
Pushpa 2 can become the highest grossing film on opening day
- Prediction is that this film can earn Rs 105 crore in Andhra Pradesh, Rs 10 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 8 crore in Kerala and Rs 87 crore in other places.
- In this way Pushpa 2 can earn Rs 225 crore at the domestic box office.
- If the film earns Rs 75 crore from the overseas market, then this figure will go towards Rs 300 crore and it will become the highest grossing Indian film till date.
