Pritish Nandy Passes Away: Well-known film maker, poet and writer Pritish Nandy has passed away. Pritish has said goodbye to the world at the age of 73. Anupam Kher has given information about his demise through social media. He has expressed condolence on Nandi’s demise by posting on X.
Anupam Kher has written- I am very sad and shocked to know about the demise of Pritish Nandy, one of my dearest and closest friends. A wonderful poet, writer, filmmaker and a brave and unique editor and journalist, he was my support system and a great source of strength during my early days in Mumbai. We shared many things.

Anupam Kher further wrote- ‘He was one of the most fearless people I have met. Always larger than life. I learned a lot of things from him. We did not meet often for some time. But there was a time when we were inseparable. I will never forget when he surprised me by putting me on the cover of Filmfare and more importantly, The Illustrated Welky. He was the true definition of a friend. I will miss you and the times we spent together, my friend. Rest in peace.
